Smells like: a dried flower bouquet
In Chicago, Nectar Flow is a Honey Bee’s favorite time of year, when the air is saturated with the smells of honeysuckle and peonies in full bloom. The original idea for these bars came from Chicago’s Linden trees, with nectar lending itself to a light and delicate honey in both flavor and color. The dried floral blend on the tops of these bars started with linden flowers (which also makes an amazing tea!) which I blended with Lavender, Chamomile, Eastern Redbud, Hibiscus, and Marigolds.
The soap is our classic Honey Beeswax Recipe - last year’s best seller! I considered leaving these bars unscented to let the dried flower blend shine all on their own but decided to keep the essential oil blend as it’s always been a soap people put to their nose and say, “O wow.” It’s a citrus, floral, earthy blend to perfectly compliment the bouquet on top. Use this for a full body bar or face wash bar.
